Important Safety Information
Warning: Follow instructions of water safety lifeguard staff at all
times
Six Flags Hurricane Harbor is fully staffed with certified lifeguards.
Follow all lifeguard
instructions. Failure to do so may result in serious injury to you and
others and may be
cause for ejection.
Good hygiene is important for safe, clear water.
- Please shower yourself and your child before entering the water.
- A changing/showering facility is located near the water park
entrance, to change and shower before and after visiting .Six Flags
Hurricane Harbor.
- Children should be told not to drink the pool water.
- Diaper dependent guests must wear approved waterproof swim diapers
in all pools and attractions.
- Changing Diapers on or around pool decks is not permitted.
- Please wash hands with soap and water after changing a diaper.
- Anyone who has experienced a stomach and/ or intestinal illness
within the past two weeks should not participate in any water
activities.
Rider Requirements
- Children should not be left unattended anywhere in the water park.
For the safety of our guests, attractions may have specific height,
weight, and health
restrictions that are strictly enforced. Please read posted
requirements and restrictions
at the entrance to each attraction.
- Non-swimmers must be accompanied by an adult who can swim.
- Casts are not allowed on slides and most attractions.
- All eyeglasses and jewelry must be secured prior to participating in
the attractions.
- Eyeglasses and jewelry are not recommended in pools. Items will not
be retrievable
during operation.
Park Policies And Information
- Do not leave personal items unattended.
- Six Flags Great America / Six Flags Hurricane Harbor is not
responsible
for lost or stolen items.
- Lockers are available for rent near the Changing/Shower Facility.
Rental fee of $10.00 required (Cash or credit cards accepted).
- Line jumping and profanity are offensive to the guests - offenders
may
be removed from Six Flags property without a refund.
- Failure to follow instructions of lifeguard staff or observe safety
rules may
result in serious injury to you and others and may be cause for
removal
from Hurricane Harbor or Theme Park.
- Glass containers are prohibited in Hurricane Harbor.
- Food and Drinks are not permitted on the rides.
- Chewing gum or candy are not permitted on the rides.
- Face masks are not allowed.
- NO RUNNING OR DIVING allowed anywhere in waterpark.
Safety Information
- Children should not be left unattended anywhere in the water park.
- No running or diving allowed anywhere in the waterpark.
- Life jackets are available for weak and non swimmers at no charge
at the main changing facility (limited quantities are available).
- For your safety, no personal recreational flotation devices may be
used in Six Flags Hurricane Harbor.
- Weak and non-swimmers should use a personal life vest. Limited
quantities
are available free of charge at Aruba Tuba Rentals.
- Only U.S. Coast Guard approved personal life vests are permitted.
- Some attractions have specific height and health restrictions that
are
strictly enforced.
- Please read all posted requirements and restrictions posted at the
entrance of
each attraction prior to waiting in line and participating.
- Please follow directions of the park staff, your safety is their
first priority.
Proper Attire is Required
- In order to participate in any water park activities, Guests must
wear a lined swimsuit.
- Swimsuits will be permitted in Hurricane Harbor only and must be
appropriate for a family environment.
- Proper shoes and cover-up attire must be worn when guests are
returning to
the theme park.
- Swimsuits with buttons, zippers, rivets, or snaps are not permitted
on
some attractions.
- Denim cut-offs or shorts are not permitted on some attractions.
- Shirts, shorts and aqua socks must not be removed for some
attractions.
- Shoes are not allowed in any attraction. Aqua socks are not allowed
on slides.
Lost Parents
- Children separated from their parties are taken to the Lost Parents
next to the
changing facilities.
- Pages are made for medical emergencies only. Please pre-arrange a
meeting
time and place prior to entering the water park.
Lockers
- Lockers are for the use of guests utilizing waterpark attractions
only.
- All lockers must be emptied by 7:15 p.m. - no exceptions.
- Lockers not emptied by 7:15 p.m. Will be cleared and contents will
be
taken to lost and found.
- Rental fee of $10.00 required (Cash or credit cards accepted).
Tube Rental
- Single and double tubes are available at "Aruba Tuba"
rental located near the
changing facilities.
- Cost: Single $7.00 - Double: $9.00 plus $1.00 refundable deposit.
For Your Safety And Benefit
- Training of the Hurricane Harbor life guard staff is continuous.
- Training drills may occur at any time in any of the pools.
- Training drills may involve mannequins or simulated victims. Thank
you for your understanding and support. Any questions should be
directed to a park supervisor.
Smoking
- There is NO SMOKING at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor except in the
designated area at
Saltwater Sal's Beachside Bar next to Hurricane Bay.
Weather
- Inclement weather in the general vicinity of the park may cause
attractions
or pools to close.
- Waterpark staff will not re-open until unsafe conditions completely
move from the area.
